This set is culled from four sessions made between 1959 and 1981, each featuring a different set of musicians and all capturing Clark’s extraordinary ability to score knockouts with his horn without resorting to exhibitionism.
Includes three recordings from a Paris recording session in 1959, two sessions from the famous Montmartre Club in Copenhagen from 1975 and 1980 and tracks from e.j’s in Atlanta, Georgia from 1981.
